Personal Reaction:
I felt like this chapter was informative but was basically a reiteration of previous chapters. the chapter had some useful information such as the different types and ways to use arguments. The chapter is a good reference and guide for writing and argumentation essay.

Professional Reaction:
Chapter 14 conveys to the student a well illustrated guide to the creation and editing of an argumentation essay. Important tools such as the development of an argumentative thesis, gathering and documenting evidence and the different types of arguments are concise and well explained.
