Chapter Eight: Exemplifications

Personal Reaction:

This chapter, while slightly boring, was easy to get through and I felt that it was relatively informative. Since exemplification essays are not as common in high school, it was good to get an idea for what it was made up of before having to do my own.

Professional Reaction:

Chapter 8 is a good way to see how an exemplification essay is done. It does a good job of leading the student through what it takes to make an admirable exemplification essay. It gives great tips on how much information you actually need to have in your essay, it also helps students with starting their planning for their essay.
