- Trafficking in exotic animals
- Bush meat poaching
- Ivory and horn poaching
- Underfunding and undertraining of park rangers
- Mismanagement of funds
Ideas;
Combating illegal poaching around the world faces many problems.
The lack of funding tends to lead to poorly trained rangers who lack motivation and morale.
Equipment breaks down, boots wear out, clothes rip, rifles lack oil, ammunition runs out, rangers need food and water.
Underfunding has a direct impact on the of training available to park rangers. No money no training!
Construction of excessively expensive and yet almost useless radio repeaters, though great for publicity, is a massive misuse of funds.
Thesis;
Combating illegal poaching around the world faces many problems. The massive mismanagement of funds is directly if not absolutely responsible for the underfunding and thus the undertraining of most park rangers in Africa and other places around the world.
