The negative impact of the welfare program.
Thesis: According to the American government, the purpose of
the welfare program is to prevent American citizens from living in a state of poverty and
to help the unemployed find long term work. For most, the purpose of this
program is being utilized for its intended purpose, but for others, the program
is being taken advantage of resulting in detrimental effects on tax payers, the
welfare recipient and the children of these welfare homes.
